What is involved
Track work
Vertical and horizontal track sections are realigned to spec, and the door is run through several full cycles to confirm it tracks cleanly.
- Bent or crimped sections straightened or replaced
- Vertical track plumbed and horizontal track levelled
- Track brackets and lag fixings re-secured to the framing
- Door reseated when it has jumped the rails
- Radius and flag bracket alignment checked
Chain, belt and rail
On the opener side, a chain that has gone slack slaps, jerks the door and wears the sprocket.
- Chain and belt tension reset to manufacturer spec
- Worn sprockets and idler pulleys replaced
- Rail joints checked and re-seated
- Trolley and carriage inspected for wear
